****Ride a Stage of the Tour promotion****

Ride a full Stage in the Tour – Race the Etape du Tour – You get the opportunity to personally participate in an actual stage of the 2008 Tour. It’s worth the experience! Putting the number on your jersey, standing at the start with 8000 cyclists, hearing Greg LeMond and Miguel Indurain called forward, riding with a wide grin on your face as villagers cheer for you (yes you!) and kids beg for your water bottle as a souvenir (hey, we said you’d feel like Lance – we weren’t kidding). This is as close as it gets to the feeling of riding in the Tour. Villages along the route declare a holiday and come out to cheer. Police close all cross roads and Mavic trucks provide you (yes you) with support. The feed stations are incredible. No question, the Etape is difficult.
