Someone else's wind tunnel testing...

I was reading http://www.bikeradar.com/ this morning. There was an article about the new Enve wheels coming out. The interesting thing is that they tested 2 of the fastest Tri/Time Trial bikes on the market. The Cervelo P3 and the Speed Concept 9.8. The best part of this test is that it wasn't done by Cervelo or Trek. It was done by Enve to test their wheels. Look at the graphs above and you will see how much more aero the Speed Concept is than the P3. It isn't even close. We are talking up to 30%+ more aero depending on the wheelset. Something to keep in mind when you are looking for your next bike.

Top Fuel 9.8.

Like many of Trek's new OCLV mountain bikes, the Top fuel is made with the new Mountain OCLV. This makes the frameset much more resiliant to impact. They test these frame by hitting it with a pointed hammer at 38mph. Pretty impressive.
